Access and digital inventory
Find forgotten money: choose the right search
Bank accounts, insurance and digital assets follow different procedures. Identify the nature of an old lead before searching for forgotten money.
Start with the type of resource
Finding forgotten money starts with a convenient distinction. An inactive bank account, an unrequested insurance and a crypto wallet are all under different circuits. A single search does not give you access to all of these assets. Gather first the names of organizations you have actually used, your old addresses and events that may have left a trace: moving, changing jobs, gift or digital purchase.
Getting a Bank Track to the Right Body
In France, Ciclade allows free search for assets transferred to the Deposits in its area. This public service already exists and is not a cryptocurrency search engine. If the institution still keeps the account, start with it. For another jurisdiction, check the local official device. Do not pay an intermediary to simply access a free public procedure.
Identify an exploitable digital footprint
A purchase confirmation, a transfer reference or the name of a wallet application can guide a crypto inventory. A newsletter does not prove that you have opened an account. Note the sale or withdrawal transactions you remember: receiving an asset in the past does not mean possessing it yet. You can classify your documents into three groups: established facts, memories to check and messages without confirmed origin.
Examples to Avoid Dispersed Search
You find an old bank statement and an email entitled “received deposit”. The report is used to identify the establishment and date. The email is used to search for the digital service and the deposit reference. These two indices may relate to the same transaction, without confirming two separate balances. Do not add them. A chronology with the last known transaction is worth more than an estimate based on the current price of bitcoin.

Understanding the Perimeter of Ciclade in France
If your inventory reveals a crypto track, present its source and date in your Request for researchCheck the The Commission and keep your access secrets private. A track may not reveal any recoverable assets.
