Incomplete crypto history: reconcile old exports
A partial export does not cover an entire account. Compare periods, deposits, withdrawals and transaction references to build a coherent crypto history.
Identify what the export covers
A downloaded file may contain only purchases, one year or a single account type. Keep its name, creation date and filters used. Check currency and time zone. Empty exports do not indicate the absence of any activity if its period or scope is limited. Interfaces and formats may have changed since your last use.
Combine operations without doubling them
A platform withdrawal and a wallet deposit may represent the same transfer. Use public references when they exist and keep internal identifiers separate. The amounts may differ due to fees. Do not sum both lines as two acquisitions: indicate the relationship between them and the remaining points to be confirmed.
Detecting Chronology Holes
Sort events by date by retaining their source. Mark missing periods, observed balances and movements without a known destination. Example: an export of purchases ends in June, but a withdrawal confirmation appears in August. The period between the two should remain an open question. An old balance should not be presented as current without approaching the following events.
Preserve the originals and prepare a synthesis
Keep the files received from the service and work on copies. A short sheet can summarize the accounts, periods and references to be reviewed without exposing the unreported operations. Do not insert any access code into the transmitted files. If a data is corrected manually, note the correction and its justification so as not to lose the difference between source and interpretation.

No. Sales, withdrawals, internal transfers, fees and missing periods can change the result. Check the file’s scope first.
