Invisible token in a wallet: examine address, network and display

Compare address, network and history without importing secrets or signing an unknown action.

The interface does not summarize the entire history

A wallet is an interface that allows you to view an account and, depending on its functions, use its means of access. A token may not appear in the list displayed for various reasons. Before concluding with a loss, note what you see, on which application and at what date. A capture explains the problem, but does not replace the review of the history.

Compare the selected account and network

Check the public address consulted and the network concerned by the transfer. The same interface may present multiple accounts. A nearby asset name may also refer to several contracts. Collect references from the known source instead of selecting a random result. Official Explanations on Ethereum Wallets It helps to distinguish the account from the app that displays it.

Establish the existence of a transfer before changing the display

Look for a complete public reference and its source. An old event can document a receipt, then subsequent operations can explain the absence of balance. The mere visibility of a token name does not demonstrate a value. Avoid sites that ask for a signature or a secret to “fix” the display. An interface change should not be confused with a recovery of funds.

Preparation of non-secret technical elements

  • The public address of which you know the origin.
  • Used and expected active network.
  • Reference and date of known transfer.
  • Name of the software and account displayed.
  • Subsequent operations that you can document.

Do not transmit any file containing keys, recovery phrases or login code.

Improve the results with Vault-Seek

Vault-Seek does not promise to show a balance or circumvent wallet checks. Network of Transfer If you have a documented clue, start by presenting it in your dossier.
